Note: If you look closely (above), you'll see that one the "cows" is wearing a collar. Local wildlife agencies do sometimes collar deer & elk (often with a radio transmitter), with the purpose of studying their migratory habits.

Anne & I have thoroughly enjoyed our two visits to your lovely resort. Both time (1994 & 2004), were in the Fall to celebrate two mile stones in my wife's life – Birthdays #50 & #60! In 1994, the mule deer were all over the place; and we took these pictures. The buck in the pictures walked with a slight limp, and we were told that as a fawn he used to spend a lot of time on the premises. We hope you and others enjoy these photos!
